                                              When     I    started  my  blogging  journey , I was  quite  unknown  about  the  procedure of   making  blog , hosting    and   domain   name .  But  after  long    experience   and  research    in   this  field,  I am   in  a position  to write    about  the pros  and  cons  of   these  free  blogging  platforms.  I  have  started  my   blogging  with  blogger.com as  well as  wordpress.com   at  a time . At  that  time  I was  quite  raw  hand   in  operating  computer and   its   all  functions . But  it  was  my  writing  passion  from   school   life   , which   motivate  me  to  start   blogging    journey . Every one   keep  own   criteria  of  selection   of  blogging  platforms .

                                       I  have  seen   and  also  seeing  that  a  lot  of  free platforms  have  come  and   go  over the  years.   Here  I  believe  that  there  are  several  factors  which  distinguish or  make  free blogging  platforms better  than  other .  Here  is  my  personal  criteria or   checklist  for  evaluation  of   a  blogging  platforms :-

• Money Point of view :-      I   also   give  priority  to  value  of  money while  evaluating a blogging  portal . I  focus  on a features   included  in each  pricing   tier  and  consider  the  long term prices as  your  blog grows . I also   give  preference  or  consideration  of  availability of   free  plans and  trials. 
• Ease  of Use :-   New bloggers or  beginners   always  prefer  user friendly   interface  with  minimal   requirement  of  technical  knowledge .  It  means , user   interface  should  have  intuitive  dashboard , easy  setup  process , and  simple  post publishing  features .  
• Customization  options :-  Customization  allows  you  to make  your  blog   visually attractive  and   reflective  of  your  brand . So  there  should  be  availabilty  of themes / templates , drag and  drop  features , and  the ability  to  modify  layouts  or styles .
