What is your motivation in Life.

What is Motivation ? This is very big question before common man. When we ask anyone - what is the motivation behind you , the answer we get is ' strength ' , Positivity ' and ' Belief' , 'optimism' etc. Actually , Motivation is the combination of all the above.
Ones a famous writer has said ," Motivation is the willingness to exert high levels of efforts toward organizational goals , conditioned by the effort ability to satisfy some individual need." Same way Fred Luthans , has also said , " Motivation is a process of motivation physically or psychologically derived that needs a main activity in behavior and to attain the goal " .In short we can say as , Motivation is the drive that keeps us going towards a particular goal.
Self - Motivation :-
You all would have heard the famous saying that we can only take a horse to the pond , but we can not make it drink the water . Here the concept of self - motivation is applied . Unless the horse really wants to drink the water , it will not drink.
Self -Motivation is the most important and difficult feeling to achieve . You have to find the subject which has most deep impact on you life which can be big source of self motivation for you. But once you realizes the importance of being self motivated , no one beat him. One must clearly understand that he has to push himself towards his goal because no one else can actually do it for him.
How we can get motivated ? :--
There are several books which is written on the topics of 'Motivation' . Some of them offer paid seminars and workshops on " how to stay motivated ". While some offer all such events absolutely free of cost . In fact Motivation is very important topics in MBA courses . But do they actually work is the big question here. As already mentioned , motivation is the drive that keeps you going. So unless one is really determined to do something , he can not do it. The internal force that brings that feeling in you is motivation. So just have clear vision and avoid negativity in your mind and pay complete attention to what we are trying to say.
There are several ways to get motivated in life . We should follow some of them to get motivated .---
[1] The last benefit :-' What is in it for me ? ' is one of the best ways to get motivated. It can be a monetary benefit , or a material benefit , or a sense of self actualization or just a feeling of having accomplished something.
[2] Measurable and Tangible Goals :- Who will not accept that when you see something getting shape before you , when you have started from scratch , it gives you a great feeling. It is more like seeing your baby grow . When we fixed achievable goals , like losing 2 kgs a week and achieve them , then you get even more motivated .
[3] Short term Goals :- If you want to achieve larger target , then first of all you should fixed small and measurable goals to achieve first. So divide your ultimate goals into short term goals and keep achieving them one by one , your motivation keeps going . That glaze never fades.
[4] Give Thanks to yourself :- Never forget to give thanks to your self even on your achievement . This will give new energy and positivity of your mind . Such type of appreciation to your success gives motivation to you for continuity of your efforts. Take for example , you lost the expected weight , you should go to give treat your self with a small chocolate ice cream. This is also a big source of getting motivation.
[5] Enjoyment :- Try to enjoy even on small moment of enjoyment that will give you motivation to lead a good and positive life . So whatever you do , involve you in it and love your work . Never criticize your work . That is the key to happiness and motivation.
[6] Seek motivation from Society :- Sometimes our society works as a great source of motivation. Achievement of any person of our society inspire us to become similar to that person . Every person has its own idol and he wants to follow that person . So we should seek motivation from the person who has done something extraordinary for the society . This type of thought certainly works as a great motivator for us .
[7] Accept and go on :- We should know our capacity and understand the very fact that it is good to take control of things you can change , at the same time it is also not wise to worry about the things which are beyond your limit . So do not let such things to take control on your peace and serenity.
[8] Remain with positive thinking people :- Negativity in any form is worse disease and it instantly infects anyone who contacts it . So try to be with people with a positive energy and see yourself change . Such energies pull out the feelings of negativity from you and let you stay happy and motivated.
[9] Gain positivity from inside :- Sometimes it is not the people outside , it is your own subconscious mind that hinders your growth . The unknown fear of past or just the fear of failure are enough to kill your zeal . Just try to keep it out . In reality , they do not exist , they are just result of your imagination .
